V-Ribbed Belts TKB

TKB belts meet exact power or space requirements and permits high drive efficiency; distributes the drive load across the entire belt width on big and small pulleys at high speeds.

Advantages of TKB Rubber Ribbed Belts

Compact smooth running drive system with low vibration.

Distribution of the working load throughout the complete belt width.

Low elongation rate during life utility.

Resistance to temperatures from -86 ºF to +176 ºF, heat and oil.

Transmission power 30% more than ordinary V-belts with the same transferred power.

Difficult drive configurations are permitted, such as snaking or twisted drives, which can be designed due to the high flexibility of TKB belts.

Power performance can be optimized by the number of ribs.

Materials

TKB Belts are made with materials of high resistance such as CR rubber (chloroprene rubber).

TKB Belts have a nylon covering on the toothed side to improve the shear strength of the chloroprene rubber teeth and provide better abrasion-resistance between the belt and pulley, it helps to avoid the elongation of the belt.
